dLive MixPad is a mobile application designed for engineers to manage the Allen & Heath dLive digital mixing system wirelessly. This tool allows for convenient control of audio settings from various locations within the venue, facilitating precise sound adjustments. When used in conjunction with the dLive Surface, it enables simultaneous management of distinct functions. For instance, one engineer can handle front-of-house mixing using the Surface, while another fine-tunes stage monitors via an iPad. Multiple iPads can be linked to provide individualized control.

The primary focus of dLive MixPad lies in live mixing and channel processing capabilities. Users can adjust a range of parameters, including fader levels, mutes, panning, aux and FX sends, as well as preamp settings, EQ options, dynamics processing, and more. The app features comprehensive controls for DCA groups, signal routing, metering, and customized channel layouts. Moreover, it provides advanced functions like RTA analysis, sonogram displays, and signal generation.

It's important to note that dLive MixPad is not intended for system configuration or memory management tasks. Some functionalities unavailable on the iPad version include FX parameter adjustments, channel grouping, scene memory operations, and system preferences customization.

To utilize dLive MixPad effectively, users need an Allen & Heath dLive mixing system with firmware version V1.90 or higher and a compatible wireless router connected to the network port. Matching the MixPad maintenance version with the dLive system firmware is not mandatory; however, both components should be updated to ensure seamless operation.
